This academic year, we welcome
31 new STEM scholars to Oregon’s top research universities. With fresh eyes and new approaches, they will advance science in reducing fossil fuel use, add
to the knowledge of female athletes’ physiology, increase our understanding of pain perception and management, and help mitigate the impact of wildfire smoke on PNW crops, to name just a few.
