Greetings and welcome to Cleveland Central Catholic’s 18th Annual Calcutta Auction! Calcutta will look different again this year, as it did in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. However, we expect this year’s virtual auction to be as exciting as ever. Thank you for joining us!
Calcutta is CCC’s signature fundraising event, which directly benefits CCC’s tuition assistance program. Our goal for this year is to raise $175,000 to help our neediest families meet their tuition obligations. Your
generosity will help us achieve that mark – and help provide our students with the blessings of a strong Catholic education.
Once again, the Cleveland Central Catholic Class of 2020 graduated 100% of its members! This is an especially impressive achievement, considering the many challenges our school community – and the entire nation – faced, after abruptly converting to remote learning in March 2020.
More than 85% of CCC families qualify for federal free or reduced breakfast and lunch programs. Most of our families don’t have the financial means to pay their full tuition, although they pay what they can afford. In the past year, many of our families have been personally affected by the pandemic. Besides illnesses, many families struggle to put food on their table, or keep the lights and heat on in their home. Thanks to generous supporters like you, both corporate and individual, there is always hope for a brighter future.

Our mission is to challenge and encourage our students to excel academically, to deepen their faith in God, and to live a life of service, so that they may face the future with confidence and hope.
