presentation was a good example. Their presentation included their Board Chair and the
7.
Program Director.
Outside of the actual meeting:
• Being able to be with grantees outside of the meeting is also very beneficial including the informal dinner Saturday night
• Learning more about neurodiversity had been very impactful
• Seeing grantees connect with each other at the reception and dinner was a positive side benefit to the weekend
• The site visit to University of Florida was informative. It generated questions about the relationship between the Disability Resource Center and the Career Connection Center and whether the Foundation could do anything to enhance that relationship. Malcolm pointed out that this has been a JSF concern for nearly twenty years with several grants and research aimed at this very issue.
H. Ratification of all Committee actions
The Board unanimously ratified all Committee actions taken.

Question was raised about the possibility of other site visits while we are in Washington. There are two thoughts that the staff will further research. It was suggested that if there are going to be any post-meeting opportunities, calendar invites should go out as quickly as possible to that Director calendars are clear on availabilities.
