 Resilience
Governance & Nominating Committee minutes (draft) (2)
3. Potential Directors
Bill reported that he had been in touch with Heidi Jordan to request an updated resume, which she sent to him. Heidi expressed that she is currently pretty invested in her new job. She continues to be a potential candidate, but probably not right now.
Bill was in touch with Kevin Walker. He expressed interest in learning more about the time commitments and culture of the JSF Board.
Mike set next to Carlana Lindeman at dinner Sunday evening. He did not get a strong feeling about her. He noted that she is very much an academic. She is an impressive person, and Mike likes the programs she is spearheading. David, who knows her better, agreed that she is definitely an academic and very committed to her work at Martin Family Initiative.
Leslie Pendleton remains a strong candidate, also. There was no consensus on whether or not to engage her in any potential discussions while currently meeting with Angelique.
Three of the women at Sunday night’s dinner impressed everyone. It was agreed to add their names to the potentials list: Kristin Ostby de Barillas from Boys Hope/Girls Hope, Katharina Breme from Weingarten Children’s Center, and Chloe Ferguson from Martin Family Initiative.
The updated list is attached to these minutes.
4. Other business
There was no other business to come before the Committee.
