PROGRAM NOTES
CORE PROGRAMS
• Distributions as of July 20, 2023 - $ 630,000
• State University System of Florida
Attached is the annual meeting report. Representatives from 11 of the 12 schools were in attendance for an excellent meeting that included updates from George Washington University and A.G. Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. A session on Accommodated Testing led by a speaker from the University of Florida was also well received.

INDIGENOUS PEOPLES PROGRAMS
• Distributions as of July 20, 2023 – $ 623,650
• Entrepreneurship Scholarships
Applications are for the 2023/2024 scholarships have been approved and award agreement letters have gone to the 11 schools. The awards totaled $675,152. The $25,152 over budget will be taken from the Special Projects reserve. (See the attached distribution sheet.)
DISCRETIONARY PROGRAMS
• Distributions as of July 20, 2023 - $1,375,176
• Center for Effective Philanthropy
A grant agreement with CEP in the amount of $31,250 has been executed and funded. The grant will provide sponsorship for CEP’s biennial conference in late October. In addition, CEP will purchase 450 copies of Malcolm’s forthcoming book, The Practice of Philanthropy: A Guide for Board Members and Staff of Grantmaking Foundations, to be distributed to conference attendees.
• Take Stock/Johnson Scholars Program
The year-end report is attached. They have had another active and productive year.
• University of New Brunswick
UNB’s year-end report is attached for this grant which is a combination of endowment building and funding current scholarships.
