The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind is a very special place. The field of Deaf education has long had options for teaching Deaf children. It is important to focus on how students learn, what they learn, and where they learn. FSDB’s accessible environment enables everyone to communicate in a way that all can understand one another. As a state school, FSDB must spend its dollars in specific ways. JSF provides important support for programs the state appropriation cannot fund, which helps create an important and inclusive environment.
