JSF’s partnership with Groves Academy uncovers the diamonds in the rough in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Groves is a school where students are validated and engaged. Students with disabilities are often invisible in school settings because they learn and think differently. By identifying barriers that exist within the educational system for students with language-based disabilities, they give help and hope not just to the students— but also to their parents. Our partnership is a remarkable one of making young people feel seen and heard. Together, JSF and Groves are planting the seed that will lead to psychological and physiological well-being that these students will carry into adulthood.
