This past year, our program witnessed remarkable milestones and unprecedented achievements. From setting new records in student-staff engagements, focusing on increased experiential learning opportunities, and establishing the largest team in MFOS history, it’s been a year of growth and innovation. Throughout this journey, your support and dedication to advancing the success of first-generation students at UF have been instrumental.
Your contributions have enabled us to expand our reach to more students, facilitating the implementation of transformative programs and initiatives that empower communities, leaving a lasting impact on our scholars. With your ongoing support, we are poised to enhance our influence and positively impact even more lives.

 • 4,259 MFOS GRADUATES as of May 2024.
• SCALED PRE-ARRIVAL PROGRAMMING for incoming scholars, doubling participation for Camp
MFOS from the year prior.
• EXPANDED EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, including co-facilitating Career Treks for the first time with a focus on artificial intelligence in collaboration with the Career Connections Center.
• Over 4,600 RECORDED INTERACTIONS with scholars during the academic year.
• Recruited, selected and trained A RECORD NUMBER OF STUDENT LEADERS, including peer mentors, lead mentors, ambassadors and Camp MFOS facilitators.
