General Summary
In fall 2024, 497 state university students with disabilities were awarded a Johnson
Scholarship. The disability categories with the most significant number of Johnson
Scholars represented included attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder,
psychological/emotional/behavioral disabilities, specific learning disabilities, and
students with multiple disabilities.
Johnson Scholarship Awards for Fall 2024
Table 1 shows that there were 196 returning Johnson scholars and 301 new Johnson
scholars across the System in fall 2024, for a total of 497 Johnson scholars. Table 2
provides a breakout of Johnson scholars by class level and institution.
