JSF Reflection
Students work hard to achieve success, overcoming obstacles encountered. Everyone knows how important it is to work hard, but not everyone knows how important it is for universities to provide support to students. Florida Atlantic University knows this and will support their students through the Johnson First-Generation Transfer Scholars Program. It is a well-designed program that offers scholarships, mentoring, career counseling, and a variety of programs targeted to first-generation students. Hard work combined with support will equal success, in university and career. That’s an outcome in which JSF is pleased to play a part.
