BUSINESS OVERVIEW
Westan was established in 1990 as an information technology (“IT”) distribution company specialis- ing in the distribution of computer peripherals. The Company grew quickly and by 2005 became one of the top 10 IT distributors in Australia with o ces in all states. In 2007/2008 Westan de- cided to downsize its IT business and re-focus on Commercial AudioVisual segment. Westan’s current busi- ness will continue to grow in this area with innovative and niche products for the Commercial AV Channel in Australia.
Westan operates nationally with headquarter in Melbourne and branches, including sales and warehousing, in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane. Westan also operates in New Zealand and Singapore as well as across the APAC region in the Hotel TV
Channel with warehousing and a sales o ce in both locations Westan is actively growing a com- mercial business and customer base and is pursuing strategic partnerships with new brands and new distribution opportuni- ties to achieve this. We are look-
ing to complement our key prod- ucts from Philips Signage, Retail and Hotel TV as well as Epson Projectors with other visual prod- ucts suitable for the B2B channel.
