MAD (Movement and Dance) Weekend
October 26–28 | Arts Center
MAD Weekend will offer more than 30 events and dance/ movement master classes in a variety of levels and styles over three days for dancers, dance enthusiasts, and movers 15 and older. The weekend will include seminars, workshops, and evening performances by professional dancers and choreographers.
NYC-based company 10 Hairy Legs performs a special lecture demonstration on Friday 10/26.

Spring Awakening

Winner of eight Tony Awards including best musical, Spring Awakening is an alt-rock musical based on the German play by Frank Wedekind. Set in late-19th-century Germany, the musical tells the story of teenagers discovering the inner and outer tumult of teenage sexuality. Book and lyrics by Steven Sater with music by Duncan Sheik. Directed/choreographed by Brett Smock with musical direction by Corinne Aquilina.
This musical is not suitable for young audiences and contains mature language, sexual themes, and adult content.
