Following a record-breaking 50th anniversary season, we invite you to “imagine more” in the Nazareth College Arts Center’s exciting 2018–19 season.
This fall marks a new chapter for the Arts Center’s with the opening of the Jane and Laurence Glazer Music Performance Center. Located adjacent to the Arts Center, the $15.5 million venue includes the 550-seat Beston Hall designed specifically for the acoustics of instrumental ensembles and features state-of-the-art technology. The hall will serve as the rehearsal and performance home of the Nazareth Department of Music. Learn more about upcoming music and theatre and dance department performances, many of which are free, on page 16.
We are thrilled to be able to bring world-renowned musicians to the Glazer Music Performance Center for intimate performances that haven’t been possible on our main stage, the Callahan Theater. In addition to Velvet Caravan with special guest Jessica Ann Best, we will welcome Billboard-chart toppers We Banjo 3 on January 27 and New York City jazz pianist Aaron Diehl on April 6.
Each year, thousands of people from throughout the region enjoy more than 625 events at the Arts Center, from performances to art gallery exhibitions as well as other campus events. We are proud to be Rochester’s No. 1 venue for diverse programming and look forward to serving the community again this season!
