Vision 21 Launched at Standard Brands
The Standard Brands strategy was shared with all employees in September. The team has set an ambitious target to grow turnover by more than 40% over the next three years, delivering a €50m revenue business by 2023. A key part of the growth drive centres on the Zip brand which is firmly established as the market leader within its category.
The strategy is based on three pillars:
• Grow Markets - Increasing the global spread
of the business with new territories, as well as attracting new customers and trade channels to our existing markets. Currently Standard Brands operates in more than 10 countries.
• All Year Round Business - The long term business strategy is to move its current market position with 85% sales generated in the winter period to a 50/50 split, increasing sales during the summer season. The team aims to reach a target of 30% of sales secured during the summer months by 2023.
• World Class Manufacturing - The goal is for the Castlebellingham site to become a centre of
excellence with world class levels of operating efficiency. The site team will identify more effective and profitable ways to deliver the commercial growth agenda.
Underpinning the three pillars is a focus on people and teams. Personal development is a priority, with all functions supporting the ‘One Agenda’ and hopefully celebrating great successes along the way.
Feedback from the launch has been positive so the future is looking bright for Standard Brands!
