➊ When in 1993 Gandini revised the design for Piero Rivolta, the
front end, specifically the headlamps, were modified to take into
cognizance that they needed to be permanently exposed as per
new European regulations.
➋ The retractable system that Gandini proposed had an interim
possibility in the form of a targa, as the roof section slid rearwards
and down on runners.
➌ With the roof section retracted on the runners for a targa like
feel.
