THE APEX OF THE NEXT LEVEL:
CARBON FIBER PACKAGES
Fine Books © Dalton Watson Fi With its standard aero componentry, the CT4-V Blackwing is a
fully track-capable, nimble and fast machine. Cadillac’s stated
performance figures are 3.8 seconds to 60 mph for the automatic,
4.1 for the manual, 1.04gs of lateral acceleration and a top speed of
189 mph. To fully realize its track-proficiency, the CT4-V Blackwing
can be fitted with two optional, lift-reducing and downforce-
inducing carbon fiber aero packages. All the components were
extensively wind tunnel tested and track validated for their function
and produced to Cadillac’s high standards of fit and finish for their
form.
The Carbon Fiber 1 Package applies a sharply-angled one-piece splitter
that joins with wheel deflectors and adds dive planes to the front fascia.

Center in Warren, Michigan, as well as the Windshear wind tunnel
used by Cadillac Racing in North Carolina. The result is the highest
level of aerodynamic downforce ever produced by a Cadillac

“The available aero packages are inspired by the multiple-
championship-winning Cadillac racing DPi-V.R race car. Over 500
hours of wind tunnel testing and 300 simulations using advanced
Computational Fluid Dynamics technology honed the Carbon

Fiber packages on the CT4-V Blackwing. The use of Virtual Reality
headsets also allowed Cadillac engineers to identify opportunities
in real-time to exploit additional aerodynamic efficiencies.”
The optional aero components are formed from book-matched,
exposed-weave carbon fiber, and are more aggressively styled and

named Carbon Fiber 1 Package (CFZ), includes:

the CFZ splitter is a single piece extending the length of
the fascia and connecting to the deflectors that rise up
more aggressively off the spoiler’s trailing edge, creating
the wheel arches. It contours to the shape of the fascia at
substantially greater downforce. The lower center section
