  THESE TWO PAGES: In 1923, Pierce-Arrow joined the list of Dietrich’s design customers. In that year Frank Goodyear of Buffalo, New York, placed an order
for a five-passenger Pierce-Arrow Dual-Valve Six Le Baron phaeton. While some might be surprised to find an article on a car in Vanity Fair magazine, the Goodyear family was well enough regarded in elite society to warrant such recognition.
