THE WORLD OF MARY COHR
Up until now, the Distributor and Beauty Therapist were exempt from responsibility for the cosmetic products they market.
The European law implemented in July 2013 applies to cosmetic product manufacturers as well as distributors and Beauty Therapists.
Manufacturers, Distributors and Beauty Therapists are ALL RESPONSIBLE for consumer safety.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MANUFACTURER
To identify the origin of each component used in manufacturing the products.
To comply with good manufacturing practices.
To ensure traceability of marketed products.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DISTRIBUTOR
To control the quality and compliance with European law of the products delivered to Beauty Therapists.
In the case of a problem, the Distributor must be able to identify each product’s place of delivery, thanks to a high performance traceability system.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BEAUTY THERAPIST
In the case of doubt, the Beauty Therapist must
be able to ensure the quality and supplier’s compliance (distributor or manufacturer) regarding the products she o ers her clients.
