2 Along with its signature combination of intimacy informality and collegiality Scottsdale Institute has always been forward- looking So it it requires a a a bit of an adjustment to look look in in the rearview mirror at SI’s previous year However we we we owe owe it to to our Member Organizations and Sponsors to to celebrate our collective achievements and to ensure as best we can we’re on on a a successful path for the next 12 months Hence our SI Annual Report 2019 was a a a a a a a a banner year for us as as a a a a a a a a healthcare thought
leader Our Members—all leading health systems—represent over a a a a a a a third of o all U S not-for-profit hospitals Last year 12 000 website users accessed and downloaded our content We conducted nearly two teleconferences a a a a a week averaging 170+ attendance SI’s unique Benchmarking program engaged 72 health systems representing
833 hospitals and 15 000 ambulatory sites Perhaps last year’s brightest light was the growth of our Affinity Groups—focused intimate forums of executive peers—whose increasing popularity keeps us on our toes We now have eight groups and are excited about launching a a a a a a a ninth focused on Community Health/Social Determinants of Health in in in 2020 We continue to convene the the right right people for the the right right conversations on on on the right topics If the the past is prologue to the the future we have a a a a a a bright year ahead of us Don
