04 MCCAIG’S FOLLY & THE WEST COAST Our morning walking tour includes a tasting at the local whisky distillery. Discover “McCaig’s Folly,” an interesting structure high on the hill overlooking Oban. Cruise across the beautiful Oban Bay and Loch Linnhe to enter the Sound of Mull for our mooring at Craignure. Here, we disembark for an adventure to one of the most spectacular sights of Scotland, Duart Castle. A scenic drive then brings us back to the Lord of the Highlands in Tobermory. (B,L,D) Tobermory
05 TOBERMORY, SAIL THE SOUND OF MULL, WEST HIGHLAND LINE
Built as a fishing port in the late 18th century, Tobermory is now the main town on the Isle of Mull. Enjoy free time this morning to explore the village’s gaily painted waterfront. We sail down the length of the scenic Sound of Mull
to Loch Linnhe and the start of the Caledonian Canal at Corpach. Later, we board the Jacobite Steam Train for an unforgettable journey along the West Highland Line.
