COMMERCIAL INVESTMENT DIVISION OF GBRAR -

Formed in 1982, the GBRAR Commercial & Investment Division (CID) is the oldest local commercial real estate organization in Louisiana. CID is governed by a Board of Directors and meets monthly. The CID exists to unite those involved in the commercial and investment real estate business; to foster knowledge, education, integrity, professionalism, and quality workmanship in this field of real estate; and encourage the exchange of specialized information among the members.
The CID provides various educational, professional development, and networking opportunities. It frequently brings in top speakers from the area and across the Nation to address our membership on interest topics to the commercial real estate community.
TRENDS
COMMERCIAL INVESTMENT DIVISION OF THE GREATER BATON ROUGE ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®
      The CID originated the “TRENDS in Baton Rouge Real Estate” annual seminar attended by nearly 1000 participants making it the largest real estate seminar in Louisiana. The TRENDS Steering Committee oversees the TRENDS Seminar.
In 2019-2020, CID® received the highest level of Commercial Services Accreditation of 5 stars! One of only eleven in the Nation! https://www. nar.realtor/ae/manage-your-association/commercial-resources-for- associations/commercial-services-accredited-associations The Commercial Services Accreditation is a prestigious recognition program that acknowledges local and state REALTOR® associations for their commitment to providing commercial services to their membership, engaging members, and building brand perception within the community. NAR’s accreditation was developed with the help of commercial structures in 2008 to help develop and strengthen the commercial services offered locally to members. Based on the completion of these benchmarks, associations can receive a rating of 1-5 stars
