Noah F.-This organization is something that is truly special and unique, and I am so glad you got to experience it. I remember meeting you on band day, and just seeing how much you have grown is so wonderful. Don’t ever take yourself too seriously okay? Remember to have fun!
Noah S.- Realizing how shy and quiet you were at band camp, to how open you are now is truly remarkable! I am so glad I got to see you open up more! There is no one I would rather banter with over lyrics of Queen songs withJ(I’m still right, by the way... lol!) Thank you for always joking around with me in between sets of interstellar, and keeping me sane.
Aaron- Last, but certainly not least! You are such a character, and I really appreciate you. You always found a way to crack a punch line, and I am so glad you were able to join this incredible family. Don’t blink... it’ll be over before you know it. So take as many pictures as you can each season, trust me!
To my old section- thank you for not hating me and continuously supporting me and loving me throughout the semester. I really appreciate each and every one of you, and I am so proud of the section you became this season. You have truly unified and created something sweet, a real family. I am proud of you, endlessly. Heart, Soul, Sound. Never forget that and what it means to you.
And now, some shout outs:
Sarv- Thank you. Little did you know just how bad I needed to hear your speech from band camp about George and your mom, it helped me in ways I can’t express through words to properly articulate. It has just been such a... time... since everything happened, and you always made sure that I was supported through it all—And I truly can’t ever thank you enough. You ensured I felt validated throughout my grieving process. You have no idea how important it was for me to hear you say that day in Amy to me that, “It’s okay to be mad”. Thank you, for your endless support.
Jim- Thank you for always helping me as a musician finding my way, on the field, in pep band and in symphonic band. I am excited for yet another season of Pep band with you on Mello, but I am also beyond grateful for having the opportunity to grow as a French horn player in your ensemble. It has been such a wonderful and unique experience for me, which I have continuously grown from over the semester. Thank you for always support me.
Deena- Thank you for always watching out for me, and taking care of me when I needed it the most. You are such a kind and sweet person, I truly appreciate all that you do for this band, and all that you have done for me. I can’t thank you enough.
Alyssa- I just wanted to write to you and let you know how incredibly proud I am of the leader that you have become. You are such a ray of sunshine, and I am so grateful that I have been able to build a closer friendship with you over the past year in particular. You are such an inspiring woman, who many look up too, and I don’t think you hear that enough. You are bold, and daring, and I really appreciate you and all that you stand for. Thank you for always being true to yourself and being so caring. You aren’t afraid to be vulnerable, and that speaks louder than any words could.
Cami- Oh my SON! Wow I am so endlessly proud of the woman you are. You aren’t afraid to stand your ground, even if you’re scared and I really love that about you. You are the definition of courageous. You are such a kindhearted soul, and I am so glad we were able to bond and connect recently. Always be true to yourself hun, always.
