Val Pascale – You are an icon. Thank you for being a little bundle of joy and positivity! You always lift me up when I feel down. I aspire to be as understanding and compassionate as you. Continue to spread sunshine wherever you go in life! I will miss you so much.
To some other important people...
Jeffry – I remember when you were born... and when you were kidnapped. Thank you for being the comic relief of the UDMB. Please keep in touch! #IStandWithJeffry
SAI Eta Rho – Thank you for giving me a community of empowering women who are passionate about music. You have given me an outlet to stay connected to the music department even when marching band is not happening.
Drum Majors (Alyssa Rosenblum, Steven Gelberg, and Keith Blake) – Thank you for leading the band both on and off the field. I appreciate everything you did to help make the band a success.
Graduate Assistants (Jessica Evans, Anthony McDonnell Johnson, and Devin FitzGerald) – Thank you for picking UD for your higher education. We are so fortunate to have GAs with such dynamic personalities and musical talent. Thank you for all of the times you have driven the truck without crashing it, provided musical or visual feedback, and solved problems for students in the UDMB. I appreciate it a lot.
Deena Frank – Before I even met you, I was told by my mom about “the girl who twirled with fire” – while I’m still waiting to see that in action, I wanted to thank you for all of your assistance behind- the-scenes, both professionally and personally. I love working with you and hope to do it again someday.
Jim Ancona – Thank you for your dedication to this program. Because of your influence, I have marched alongside incredibly high-caliber percussionists and was constantly challenged to be my best. Thank you for your attention to detail.
Heidi I. Sarver – Sarv, you have taught me so many things during my four years at UD, and I certainly can’t address all of them right here (maybe I will try again close to graduation). So here I just wanted to say, THANK YOU. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to grow as a performer, leader, professional, and person. Thank you for trusting me to serve as the first Band Manager of the UDMB – it is an experience that helped make me who I am today, and I had so much fun in the process.

You believe in Santa. You don’t believe in Santa. You become Santa. In My Life, I’ve Loved Them All
Time passes so quickly if you are unaware of it, and so slowly if you are aware of it. As I reflect on this idea, I think back to the middle of tobatta, where every second is pain and 300 of us are all doing mountain climbers on the turf field baking in the August sun. Just thirty more seconds and
