couldn’t play something. You have such a positive attitude and are so knowledgeable. You are a great teacher and I have no doubt that you’ll have a long and successful teacher as a music teacher. Thank you again for everything that you taught me and all the great times we had together. I hope we stay in touch!!
Thank you to Haley for joining the section this year and being such a great addition! You care so much about everyone and you never failed to lift my mood when I was around you. I admire your positivity and passion. You are literally so amazing, from continuing to march after breaking your wrist and nailing your solo every time. I’m so glad we got closer this year and I can’t wait to see you do amazing things in your future!!
Thank you to Salena for working so hard and getting the job done, even after you were on crutches! You are such a determined person and I love seeing you put your mind toward achieving a goal. You are so much fun to be around as well; we had some great laughs together! Congrats on a great season, and I hope you have an AMAZING season next year as mello mom! Enjoy every last second <3
Thank you to Ryan for being a great stand buddy! I have loved screaming with you in the stands and running next to you while running the stands. You are an awesome player and a great marcher, and I love seeing how excited you get about Pokémon. You are so much fun to be around and I hope you continue spreading joy to the mello section :)
Thank you to Scott for joining the section this year and making such productive changes to the band. You are always looking at the bigger picture and analyzing what can be done to improve the program, and I really admire that. I hope you had a fun season and are glad you decided to join the section!! Good luck with your future – I have no doubts that you’ll be successful with whatever you do!
Thank you to Josh, Kat, Ginger, and Hannah for being so awesome and absolutely killing it this season! The section would not have been the same without any of you, and you all added your special touch to the section to make it what it was this year. I loved joking around with you and watching you all thrive. I hope that you stick with it in the future years and get the most out of it that you can! I’ll miss you all, but I know you’ll have the best time in the years coming up :)
Thank you to Noah, other Noah, and Aaron for being the BEST rookies and making this show amazing!! You guys worked so hard and added so much fun to the section; I couldn’t have asked for better rookies than you. I hope you stick with it in the future and love every second! Like I’ve said before, it goes by fast, so step back and appreciate the little moments every once and awhile. If you ever need anything, don’t ever hesitate to reach out!
Thank you to Cat, Tina, Phoebe, Lauren, Catie, and everyone else that was in the section for helping me that first year I became a mello. You helped me so much in terms of me learning how to hold the instrument, how to march with the instrument, and how to simply feel comfortable in the section. Thank you for all of the laughs and good memories like singing “Get on Your Feet” and wearing bathing suits to rehearsal. I had such a fun year and it was thanks to you all! So, thank you so much for giving me that :)
Thank you to Anne, Shannon, and Emily for being my net buddies freshman year. I am so grateful to have had you there to figure out how to be a college student as well as how to be a member of the UDMB. You made the transition so much easier, so thank you for that!
