MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!
We are thrilled to announce that Northwest Tech has been awarded a $1.2 million federal grant from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) for a major expansion of the Kansas Institute of Diesel Technology!!
The grant will expand the current facility by about 30%, install an in-ground chassis dyno, new ag dyno, and room for upwards of 75 students in the Diesel Technology program each year! It will also allow the college to provide advanced diagnostics for industry throughout the region.
Northwest Tech is working hard to drive economic development and sustainability in rural NW Kansas, and this grant will ensure the college can train more Diesel Technology students for a very hungry workforce!
