OCCUPATIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE
(OWE)
Many of our technical programs integrate hands-on industry experience
directly into the curriculum through Occupational Work Experience (OWE) or
Apprenticeship placements. Typically completed in the final months of your
associate degree, these opportunities give you the chance to apply your skills
in real-world settings alongside industry professionals. Whether through
structured internships, apprenticeships, or direct worksite training, you’ll
gain valuable, resume-building experience that can lead to employment offers
before graduation.

REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIPS
(EMPLOYERS)
WHAT IS REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP? Registered Apprenticeship is an
industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and
prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience
with a mentor and receive progressive wage increases; classroom instruction;
and a portable, nationally recognized credential. Registered Apprenticeships are
industry-vetted and are approved and validated by the U.S. Department of Labor
or a State Apprenticeship Agency.
