Ahosi means to forgive.
To forgive oneself: Anyone who can ahosi; who can forgive—this is the way to liberate one’s mind.
If we cannot forgive, our mind will be bonded by malice, hatred, vengefulness.
The word vengefulness means we latch on to. If we can forgive, the first person who will be liberated is us. Therefore,
we should let go. When we are troubled, we release birds; release fish; release cows. Why don’t we release ourselves... this should be more meritorious.
