Advocates for Children CASA serves children and youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, or other life chal- lenges. Our organization covers Douglas, Arapahoe, Elbert, and Lincoln counties, making us one of the biggest CASA programs in the state. Last year, we helped over 700 local children and youth by assigning them a volunteer to help them during the most difficult times of their lives. Our volunteers speak up for them in the court room, help them navigate life in foster care, and set them up for successful, independent living situations once they have left foster care. Our vision is that all children dream, thrive and grow with a sense of belonging and empowerment to build a successful future.
Aging Resources of Douglas County is a recognized 501(c)(3), not for profit organization, that serves as a Seniors “Safety Net” Information Hub, offering resources and referrals for vital senior services in our area, as well as pro- vides many of these fundamental services through our partnerships within the community. Our outreaches include; Help at Home, Hot Meal Delivery, and Transportation which help our older community age with independence and in their home.
