  Remote access: Using your laptop outside of work
If you have a Remote Access System account you will be able to work outside of the office the same as if you were at in the office.
You will have access to:
• CareNotes
• Emails including your email archives. You can read, edit, save and forward
email attachments
• Shared folders i.e. H:\drive (personal folder) also your G:\ drive (shared
departmental files)
If you require RAS your manager needs to contact IT on 0203 317 7200 or
ICTService.Desk@Candi.nhs.uk to set up a RAS account for you. What you will need:
• Trust issued Laptop (This needs to be requested by your Line Manager)
• A 4G SIM data enabled (This needs to be requested by your Line Manager)
• A RAS account (This need to be requested by your Line Manager)
• Trust issued Mobile phone or Your own Mobile phone (This need to be
requested by your Line Manager)
We have a RAS user guide which will assist you with working remotely.
