It is with tremendous pride that we announce that our Korean Barbecue Sauce has been awarded a Gold Medal by The Specialty Food Association 2019 Sofi TM awards. This pride continues as
this represents our 15th trophy across our range of products - including two gold medals in
the last two years!
While the multiple awards and industry recognition is meaningful to our team that creates these products, we recognize that what’s most meaningful is how this benefits you, our wholesale customers. For that reason, we think it’s important to highlight the criteria by which we were judged and how our products are distinguished amongst their peers.
The judging is conducted by tasting our product using practical applications, without any branding, packaging, or pricing information. Judges consider flavour, appearance, texture, aroma, ingredients, creativity, and if it’s on trend. Over 60 judges from chefs, culinary instructors, recipe developers, journalists and specialty food buyers make up the panel who judged over 1,800 submissions. A high level of industry review is applied when selecting the best of all the submissions. And that’s where Wildly Delicious stands humbly and proudly the recipient of
Gold in 2019.
