Commi ee work and par cipa on is essen al for the con nued success of our associa on, and I encourage you all to
get involved. Serving on a commi ee is a great way to get more from your PCMI Investment. We are currently seeking volunteers to join commi ees, and assist in the expansion and improvement of PCMI’s conferences, educa onal programs, membership roster and technology services.
As a commi ee volunteer, you not only strengthen the Ins tute, but you’re able to voice your company’s interests, and have access to increased opportuni es to network with your colleagues. PCMI Board and commi ee members set policy, manage educa onal and technical ini a ves, plan conferences, develop membership recruitment and reten on cam- paigns, and help improve the Ins tute's website. You may volunteer to serve yourself, or you can nominate someone else from your company to serve.
Furthermore, I am excited to announce that PCMI is currently working with Nium, a marke ng company to improve our marke ng communica on abili es. The PCMI Informa on and Technology Commi ee hopes this rela onship will enhance promo on and recruitment e orts, be er u lize social media, and provide members with tools to enhance interac ons with each other.
Currently, the PCMI LinkedIn and Facebook pages have been updated and Google analy cs have been enhanced on our website. Nium has also begun tes ng an automated marke ng system, and crea ng email communica ons to be er en- gage with those accessing the PCMI website. This will help us track, understand and communicate with prospec ve mem- bers, to ensure we provide them with the informa on they seek! We will con nue to update you on our progress, and are excited for the impact this ini a ve will have on the growth of our membership.
I look forward to seeing many of you at the Spring 2018 technical conference at the Elite Grande Hotel in Gävle, Sweden, from May 12 – 16, 2018.
Best Regards,
Michael Lynch
