What drives Veco/PCMI to be interested in laser cutting?
Veco:
• To complete our portfolio of precision parts
• 15% of our current turnover comes from food and medical industry.
• To overcome the aspectratio problems from PCM.
Due to REACh regulations and customer perceptions it is expected that
in the near future(*) metals like Ni, Co, and Cr(6) will not be accepted in above
mentioned industries anymore.
