• Lasertech Chemical Machining Group, Italy (formerly Chemical Machining) began etching in
1970
• Photofabrication (Services) Ltd., England, was incorporated in 1971
• Ätztechnik Herz, Germany, was formed in 1974
• Precision Photofabrication Developments Ltd., Scotland, was established in 1977
• Northwest Etch Technology, USA was established as Northwest Chemical Milling Company in
1978 and
• CMT Rickenbach, Switzerland, was formed in 1982.
