     Arcam EBM (Electron Beam Melting) technology offers freedom in design combined with excellent material properties and cost efficiency.
In the Arcam EBM® process, fully dense metal components are built up, layer-by-layer with metal powder, melted by a powerful electron beam. Each layer is melted to the exact geometry defined by a CAD model. This process takes place in a vacuum and at a high temperature, resulting in stress-relieved components with material properties better then cast and comparable to wrought material.
