Another artistic engagement with plants that that has put most of of of of its materials online is is is is The Shape of of of of of a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a Circle in in in in in in the the the Mind of of of of of a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a Fish a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a series of of of of of symposia that that took place at at at at Ser- pentine Galleries in in in in in in London as part of of of of of their their larger General Ecology project in in in in in in 2019 Two of of their their events focused on on on on on plants (one called Plantsex and the the the the the the other adding with Plants Plants to to the the the the the long symposium title that alludes to to the the the the the pufferfish’s circular mat- ing dance) The events (which included talks and and performances) can be be watched on on on YouTube they they are connected to exhibits (such as as as as by artist Emma Kunz) and and they they have produced podcasts as as as as well as as as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a special issue of MAL journal on on on Plantsex 14 As with other publications that accompany these exhibits and events the the the the quick turn- around time for for for published work is is is is remarkable Alongside the the the the the virtually available formats this output is is is is propelling the the field of plant plant studies studies forward in in in in in leaps and and bounds since so many prominent and and new voices in in in in in plant plant studies studies contribute to the materials Organized with the the support of academic advisors Emanuele Coccia and Stefano Mancuso the the Paris exhibit Nous les Arbres/Trees just extended its run for two more months into 2020 15 Distributing both a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a French and and an an an an an English version of its catalog it it has reached a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a wide public public and and and academic audience 16 The publication combines images and and text in in a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a beautiful large format that would be be the pride of any 196 antennae
