Áit Urbanism and Landscape Ltd.is now 10 years old. We are a multi-disciplinary design practice providing landscape architecture and urban design services to the private and public sectors. We are a dynamic and forward thinking practice who work in collaboration with other design and environment professionals in the industry on a very broad range of project types through all stages.
Áit Urbanism and Landscape have facilitated public consultation workshops and presentations with local communities and stakeholders through projects such as the Abbeyleix Sustainable Community Plan, the Balbriggan Public Realm Plan, The Liberties Greening Strategy, Weaver Park in Dublin 8, the Dublin City Public Realm Plan, and the North Inner City Greening Strategy.
Our current local authority portfolio includes the design of a 20 Year Masterplan for Bremore Regional Park in Balbriggan with Fingal County Council and the design of a masterplan for St. James Linear Park in Dublin 8 in collaboration with Dublin City Council. We began working on the Francis Street Environmental Improvements Plan in 2014 with DCC, and are now consultant Landscape Architects to DBFL Engineers through all stages of the project. Detailed design is complete, and tender stage is near completion. We look forward to overseeing the construction stage of the project in 2020/21. Once finalised, this project will join a substantial list of greening and public realm improvement projects highlighted in the Liberties Greening Strategy (2015) that have been undertaken by Dublin City Council, and continue to contribute to the regeneration of the historic Liberties in Dublin 8.
