Association President’s Welcome
On behalf of the National Executive, Professional Staff of the Association and on my own behalf, I would like to formally welcome you to the Killashee House Hotel for the RACO Biennial Delegate Conference 2017.
This Conference gives us the opportunity to assess the work done over the past two years and more importantly, enables the Association to plan for the future in these demanding times that pose significant challenges to both the Defence Forces and by extension, our Members. In this context, it is therefore essential that all delegates participate fully in all discussions and debates, representing the interests of all RACO members. This is the forum where member’s views and concerns are advanced and where the Association’s future policy direction is determined.
I also would like to invite you all to attend the Conference Banquet, which will commence with a reception at 1900hrs. I would ask particularly that all RACO delegates extend the usual warm welcome to our guests attending the banquet.
I look forward to meeting you all over the next few days and wish you an enjoyable and productive Conference.
