Iconic HAWAII LAVATM Red Mirror Lens Color by Maui Jim is Now Available in Prescription
Maui Jim, premium polarized sunglasses brand, is introducing its popular HAWAII LAVA red mirror lens to the brand's extensive prescription portfolio. This new mirror color is available in single and progressive prescriptions for both sunglasses and optical collections. Maui Jim prescriptions will be lled using their most advanced lens material, MauiBrilliantTM, which features optics nearly as clear as glass with just one-third the weight.
The HAWAII LAVA red mirror lenses are created using the Maui Jim proprietary HCL® Bronze base lens color enabled with patented PolarizedPlus2® color-enhancing lens technology.Taking inspiration from the lava eruptions on the Islands of Hawaii, the interplay of red, orange and yellow within
the mirror's coloring highlights the dimensional appearance of natural lava.
"Market demand for this fashionable look has been overwhelming since the 2019 launch of the plano HAWAII LAVA lenses within the exclusive Manchester United collection," says Diego de Castro, Senior Director of Brand Marketing and Management for Maui Jim. The HAWAII LAVA prescription lens is available in over 150 styles of sunglasses, and 90 optical styles, and can be sourced through local eye care professionals.
