3.4. WAYS TO PAY THE ADMINISTRATION FEE
Application Administration Fee and Change of Mind (COM) Administration Fee
There are two ways to pay both administration fees: Online OR EasyPay
www.cao.ac.za
1. You may pay the administration fee ONLINE at www.cao.ac.za by credit card:
1.1 You may pay the application administration fee online at the same time as when you apply. After you click ‘Process my Application’ a message will appear telling you how you may pay the application administration fee.
1.2 If you applied online or via the APP and wish to pay at a later date: (a) Go to www.cao.ac.za
(b) Click on ‘My Application’
(c) Enter your CAO or ID Number and click ‘Submit’
(d) Click on ‘Pay Now by Credit Card’
1.3 If you have submitted a hard copy form:
(a) Go to www.cao.ac.za
(b) Click on ‘My Application’
(c) Enter the CAO number that is on the application form you
have and/or will submit and click ‘Submit’
(d) Click on ‘Make a Payment’
2. You may pay the administration fee at any EasyPay outlet, e.g. Shoprite, Checkers, Pick 'n Pay, Boxer Superstores, Woolworths, etc. (Please use your unique EasyPay number as the reference when making payment).
3. If your COM submission was done online:
3.1 You may pay the COM administration fee online at the same
time as when you submit the COM. After you click ‘Process my Change of Mind’, a message will appear telling you how you may pay the administration fee.
3.2 If you pay the COM Administration fee AFTER you have submitted your COM online, you may pay the COM administration fee at any EasyPay outlet, e.g. Shoprite, Checkers, Pick 'n Pay, Boxer Superstores, Woolworths, etc. (Please use your same unique EasyPay number on your original application as the reference when making payment).
4. Both the Application Administration Fee and the COM Administration Fee can be paid at our offices at *Gate 11, Mary Thiphe Street, Cato Manor. You can pay by credit or debit card. We DO NOT take cash at the CAO office.
FINANCIAL AID
If you require financial aid from NSFAS, you must tick the Financial Aid field when you complete your CAO application. In addition, you must apply directly to NSFAS at: Private Bag X1, Plumstead, 7801 OR 2nd Floor, House Vincent, 10 Brodoe Road, Wynberg, Cape Town, 7700 OR Telephone 021 763 3200/0860 006 7327 OR visit their website at www.nsfas.org.za
