We also established an auditorium and Training Centre where we conduct training in work readiness programmes for unemployed youth. We applied for and received accreditation from QCTO (Quality Council for Trade and Occupations) to provide staff training to various companies.
This serves as a reminder that success can transcend conventional norms and flourish when we enthusiastically pursue our passions. It’s about taking a courageous leap in self-belief, embracing change as a potent force, and forging a distinct and personal path to success. It stands as an example for others, demonstrating that the only true limitations are the ones we place upon ourselves.
After his presentation the MC requested the CEO to do the thanks.
The CEO thanked the team for putting together an incredible event, which does credit to what CAO has done over the last 26 years. He thanked the guest speaker, Ms Fynn, for reminding the Board and CAO that despite the great work that it’s doing, there is still much to be done. He thanked the Board and the staff of the CAO and challenged them to create linkages with other organisations that serve the youth of South Africa. He stated that he never ceases to be amazed by the work being done by the CAO and the unassuming manner in which universities, parents and applicants are provided assistance.
Finally, he thanked everyone who attended. He urged the CAO to continue with its remarkable record of facilitating placement and a future for our youth.
He ended by wishing everyone a safe journey home.
