4 1 UNDERSTANDING THE PROGRAMME CHOICE Programme code
The alpha-numeric code
contains six characters It is linked to a a a a a a specific specific programme at a a a a a specific specific institutional campus The first two letters indicate the the institution’s name and the the third letter letter indicates the the campus (refer to page 33 for these codes) The last three letters and/or numbers indicate the programme Closing date
Programme closing dates are listed Take note that many programmes have early closing dates to accommodate interviews and assessment tests Applications received after the closing date
are processed as ‘late’ Late applications are dealt with differently at at each institution institution (refer to the institutions' prospectus for for more information) N N B :
Health Science programmes at at UKZN do not consider applications received after the closing date
