4. MIMI Results for the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality
4.1 Construct A: Enablers of innovation
This section presents results for Construct A of MIMI: Municipal Enablers for Innovation. Table 2 displays the scores for Construct A for the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality in comparison to the national average. As indicated, the average score for John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality in Construct A was 2, which aligns with the national average of 2. Despite the average, the municipality demonstrated strengths in several areas. It achieved a score of 5 in innovation linked to strategy, the highest among all indicators. Additionally, John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality scored 3 in areas such as process for innovation, financial resources for innovation, and inter-departmental collaboration for innovation.
