4.1 Construct A: Enablers of innovation
This section presents results for Construct A of MIMI: Municipal Enablers for Innovation. Table 2 displays the scores for Construct A for the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality in comparison to the national average. As indicated, the average score for Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati Disrict in Construct A was 1, which is lower than the national average of 2. This demonstrate that the municipality need to improve across all indicators to create enabling conditions for fostering innovation.
