first year must be completed at the Pietermaritzburg Campus, the second year must be completed at the Howard College Campus, and the third and fourth years are completed at the Pietermaritzburg Campus.
Land Surveying is only offered at the Howard College Campus.

What is an Engineer?

and designs useful products and
the machines that make them.
An engineer uses computers in
one way or another, also manages production processes and services, ensuring that these meet the needs of customers. The College of Agriculture, Engineering and Science offers seven different professional specialisations within engineering:
