Luis Flores
Luis started at the BWL in 1990 as a Laborer in Water Distribution . He has worked his entire career in Water Distribution where he progressed through the following positions: Mechanic C, B and A; Water Field Inspector A; and Water Distribution Leader . He was promoted to Supervisor in Water Construction and Maintenance in 2010, and he has remained in that role until his retirement on July 7, 2020, after 29 .74 years of service .
Scott Hammond
Scotty started at the BWL in 1985 as a part-time Night Watchman at Stores, becoming permanent the following year when he transferred to Building Maintenance as a Laborer . He was promoted to Utility Man and then to Building Mechanic the following year . In 1994, he returned to Stores and was promoted to Stock Distribution Specialist, which he held for the next 10 years . In 2004, Scotty returned to Facilities as a Building Mechanic, and was promoted four years later to Building Maintenance Mechanic Leader . This position was transferred to Central Maintenance in 2009 . Seven years later, he transferred to Central Maintenance Time Entry Section, then to Facilities the following year . Facilities is the position held until his retirement on May 30, 2020, after 33 .70 years of service .
Lucinda Lehmkuhle
Cindy started at the BWL in 1987 as an Operator D at Eckert Station . While at Eckert, she progressed through the positions of Operator C, Operator A and Senior Operator A . In
2000, Cindy was promoted to a Station Shift Supervisor of Training at Eckert . In 2010, Cindy moved over to the Station Shift Supervisor position . She held this position for 5 years before transferring to Erickson Station in 2015 where she was promoted to the Operating Supervisor . In May 2017, she was promoted to Plant Production Manager, which is the position from which she retires on August 29, 2020 after 33 .38 years of service
Richard Herrick
Richard passed away on May 15, 2020 at age 89. He was hired into the BWL on February 29, 1988 as an Engineer IV and retired on September 1, 1994 as an Engineer V after 10.5 years of service.
Edmund Rostorfer
“Ed” passed away on May 21, 2020 at age 90. He hired into the BWL on September 3, 1952 as a Boiler Room Helper and retired on August 1, 1989 as a Station Shift Foreman after 38.87 years of service (including 1.96 years of approved Military time).
