 Dalton Plenar
Dalton Plenar, son of Dawn Plenar in Human Resources, graduated in May 2020 from Waverly High School, where he was part of the Marching Band and National Technical Honors Society . He participated at the Wilson Talent Center for two years in the welding program . He will attend Lansing Community College for two years to earn his associates degree in Welding Technology, and then will transfer to Ferris State University, which is third in the nation for Welding technology .
Alex Pung
Alex Pung, son of Terry and Lori Pung, graduated from St . Johns High School . Alex was a member of the Student Council, Athletic Leadership Committee, Basketball Team, Tennis Team, Marching Band, and was a St . Joseph Catholic Church Youth Group Leader . Alex was a member of the National Honor Society and was a CAAC Senior Scholar Athlete, receiving the CAAC All Academic Award for both basketball and tennis, recognized for CAAC All Conference for tennis, CAAC All Conference Honorable Mention for basketball, was the Varsity Basketball MVP, received the Senior Leadership Award for tennis, served as Varsity Team Captain for both basketball and tennis and was Homecoming King . Alex is planning to attend Lansing Community College for Trades School .
Derrick Scott Jr.
Derrick Scott Jr, son of Tiffany Wilson and Justin Wilson (Customer Projects) graduated from SUCCESS VLC on May 3 . He plans on attending Lansing Community College in the fall with an interest in getting his skilled trade in welding .
Grace Tidd
Grace Tidd, daughter of Robert Tidd in Electric System Integrity and June, graduated Magma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University . She is now a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan working at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor . She was very active in the Washtenaw Community College Student Nursing Association from 2016 to 2019 . She served as president of the Washtenaw Community College Nursing Association from 2018 to 2019 .
Justin Wilson Jr.
Justin Wilson Jr ., son of Justin Wilson Sr . (Customer Projects), graduated from Waverly High School . He will begin his collegiate career at Lansing Community College with an interest in video games design and animation .
