To achieve the gold requires long hours of training and effort. Everyone knows that. Yet what may be left unno ticed is the fact that the practice and training begin at a very early age. Thus at CBA we have our Middle School, our training ground for the rigors of high school competi tion.
Each year more and more of our graduating seniors come from our Middle School. While achieving the aca demic gold is not dependent upon experience of the sev enth and eighth grade, spirit and pride are often instilled at an early time. So, the high quality performance of many of the seniors can be traced back to the Middle School. Whether the medal is gold, silver or bronze, one can
assume that Middle Schoolers will be in possession of a large quantity of the awards.
While the Middle School outlook may be somewhat restricted at this age, they certainly have their long range goals set at being the best in every category. It will be no great surprise if four or five years down the road those capturing the awards are all familiar faces.
