Once again, the CBA Indoor Track team, under the leadership of
Coach Jerry Riordan, was undefeated in all major meets. Although fan
support was little or nothing, the team consistently fared better than
rivals Liverpool and Nottingham.
One of the high points of the year was the supression of CBA
(Albany) in the Dutchman games held at Union Fieldhouse in Sche­
nectady. The Brothers of Syracuse copped a 30y4 to 30 victory over last
year's state champs, CBA (Albany)
The foundation for many of the victories this year is found in the
big 3; Jodi Bradley (600m, mile relay), Brian Buck (300m, hurdles, mile
realy), and Mike Egan (1000m, 2 mile relay). All three have come up
with key points in tight situations and have shown the strength to
come back for other events.
The dominance of CBA in Track has proven the fine quality of
teamwork in what is basically an individual's sports.
