Students Against Drunk Driving Fight Alcohol
The newly formed SADD chapter at CBA met with tremen­ dous success in establishing a large group of students to combat alcohol. Due largely to the efforts ofMr. Barnaba, the group’s first major effort was in planning an after-the- prom party, which met with success and was well-attended. Next year, the club plans to expand even more and involve itself in more projects, some of which may even involve SADDchaptersfromotherschools.Theireffortshaveled to a decrease in drunk drivers fatalities from 23 in 1987 to 9 in 1988.
