Helllooo Espaha!
On April 10th, 1998, sixteen students along with our moderators, Se- hora Saba, Sehora Pettit, and Sehorita Byrne, had the opportunity to take a break from the hectic life style of CBA. We flew to beautiful Costa del Sol, Malaga, after being awake for 57 hours straight, to finally relax on the chilly beach along the Mediterranean Sea. The following eight days were filled with lack of sleep.
excitement, and many, many cathedrals. We were led by our jolly good English tour guide, “Tio Toma'z,” who made learning about the Span ish landscapes fun! In the days following, we visited Sevilla and eventually Madrid. We experienced Spanish customs, tasted interesting Spanish foods and shopped in many unique shops. At night we went to the loud, pumping discotecas, par
tying for hours. When it all ended, we were sad that we had to leave such a wonderful place. We will never iforget the experiences, the jokes, and the peo ple we met. Going to Spain was truly a once in a lifetime experi ence.
